Escape Beauty Boutique had more humble beginnings as a smaller shop in a smaller space. Originally, Simple Escape Spa started in 2011 and opened its doors featuring specialized services focusing on Skin Care, Make-up and Waxing. Within ten months Simple Escape was doing well, but clients consistently asked for recommendations of hair and nail facilities in the area. This recurring question prompted an undertaking of the most monumental challenge to date: build and open a full service salon and spa so existing clients could enjoy the same upscale and private beauty experience they had become accustomed to while maintaining the existing facility during the transition. This new location would not simply be skin care and make up, but would include massage, hair color and styling, manicures, pedicures; almost every cosmology service available at the top spas in the world would be meticulously prepared for and offered at this new location. And with that dream, a reality was forged. In loving partnership with family and friends, construction of Escape Beauty Boutique began in the winter of 2013. Work lasted into May of that year and on June 10, 2013 Escape Beauty Boutique was inspected by the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and was licensed to open as a full service salon and spa. Escape offers all services on an appointment only basis and suggests you schedule your appointment early because time-slots do book quickly. Escape Beauty Boutique is a facility that provides excellent services with personalized care. In a boutique atmosphere, each client matters; each client is special and is always welcomed by name with genuine care and a smile. For the beauty-goer that likes a quiet, no-stress, and calm setting; you are invited you to experience the difference.
Rachael Morreale’s (formerly Rachael Pagano) spark began early in her teenage years when she was coping with acne. A common problem for children of that age, Rachael became fascinated when she explored the cause and effect relationship between how she cared for her skin and the resulting success. Rachael grew up in Egg Harbor Township and knew she wanted to go out of state for university. After her graduation from Hofstra University in 2008 with two degrees, she set herself upon another challenge; achieve licensure as an Esthetician and pursue the goal of small business ownership. Earning acceptance into Rizzieri Aveda School for Beauty and Wellness, she graduated in the winter of 2011, and by the beginning of 2012, was a fully licensed Esthetician in the State of New Jersey. Rachael truly believes that this is what she was meant to do. Her work is more than a career, it is a passion. There is no greater joy in Rachael’s day then to collaborate with her clients on developing long term goals and treating their skin care needs. Everyone has a unique skin type and understanding their “derma-details” is part of what Rachael loves to do. After understanding the uniqueness of her clients’ skin, she works tirelessly to find the right formula of solutions to correct issues and achieve their goals. As testament to her achievements and philosophies, Rachael Morreale won the International Emerging Leader Award in Texas at the eWomenNetwork International Conference in 2013.

Crystal – Hair Stylist and Nail Technician
Hi everyone, my name is Crystal. My adventure all began when I was 11 years old. My grandma bought me a Barbie manikin head whose hair you could style. I loved doing her hair and I kept telling my grandma that when I grow up I want to make people pretty! Well let’s just say that desire and passion has never left me. I knew what I wanted to do and that goal was always in my sight! My grandma passed away 4 months before I enrolled in cosmetology school and I am very grateful for her inspiration which has guided me to become the woman I am today! I graduated from North Hunterdon Vo-tech with my license in Cosmetology in 2000 and hold a gold medal in nails for the Vika Skills Nail Competition. I have had a career filled with so many adventures and blessings, my profession is my passion and the saying is true, when you love what you do it is not work. I love being a part of your transformation and strive to see you glow at the end of your appointment. I love seeing my clients feel beautiful. That is my mission. I have been so excited about my new journey with Escape Beauty Boutique! Rachael and I have been with working together for almost 4 years and I have learned and grown so much. I will never forget the day she called me and said we have an opportunity to expand, she asked, “…would you want to do hair and nails for me?” I will admit, I was emotional because when you see a prayer being answered, and a lifelong passion of doing what you love to do right in front of you, I was just overwhelmed with excitement and felt so blessed! Every day I am excited to be working with the incredible team at Escape! At Escape, it’s not just about one person, here we are family. We all have incredible talents and love what we do! Come and escape with us and experience Escape Beauty Boutique.
Rebecca – Hair Stylist, Nail Tech, and Massage Therapist
Working from a very young age taught me that hard work and effort are two of the three pillars for professional success. Since the age of fourteen I have earned my own way and pursued a life built by my own efforts and sweat. As a young part time employee at a local farmers market, I developed customer service skills as well as a sense for the worth of a dollar. It was this experience that first brought to light what working for a living entailed and what would be required of me as I journeyed through life. Earning what I have has always been a point of pride for me, and it was at this first job where I not only began to develop the skills that serve me well today, but also learned how independence and self-reliance build better people and working professionals. This ever present determination for earned independence began to illuminate what I felt was the third pillar for success, passion. Feeling a surge of courage, I decided to undertake the journey of transforming what was already a long time hobby into a career and build a future around my interests and passion. Cosmetology gave my artistic side an outlet that was focused into a profession. I always loved the idea of redesigning someone’s look, and bringing their personal vision of beauty into reality excited me. It was in that moment during High School, when I grasped the vision of my career, that I became energized by the prospect of the future. I felt that the three pillars of success, as I saw them, were in place and poised like a staircase toward my professional future.
I signed up for the vocational program offered through my High School with energy and enthusiasm. Without doubt, hesitance, or reluctance I began my adult life confident and secure in my decision and applied myself fully to the required tasks. I continued my professional journey through other high end spas and salons, adding more skills, responsibilities, and knowledge as I journeyed though my career. Recently, I realized that I was able to fulfill every position offered at the spa, except one. Never shying from a challenge, and always willing to grow, I sought an opportunity to continue my education and become a better-rounded professional by earning my Massage Therapists license. Having licensure in both cosmetology and massage therapy places me firmly on professional ground where I can stand with my peers as a well-educated and talented professional whose hard work and effort has built a career of success. The three pillars of my professional journey have enabled me to professionally preform any service offered at a salon and spa, and now, even years later; each day I go to work I enthusiastically approach everything as a professional challenge to achieve excellence. Escape is my professional family, and I look forward to walking through its front door each day and to be embraced by its warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Megan – Esthetician
My career started in the customer service industry over 10 years ago. After working my way up to management I decided to make a change. I enjoyed my work, but havng always had a passion for skin care I decided to return to school for education as a Skin Care Specialist at Rizzieri Aveda School in 2009. I received my state license as an Esthetician in 2010 and immediately after my certification I worked at a full service spa in Long Beach Island as a backup Esthetician, and four months later I became the lead Esthetician at the spa. I am certified in full service esthetics but my specialty is eye brow waxing and shaping. I also volunteer for the American Cancer Society facilitating seminars for the Look Good Feel Better program helping female cancer patients cope with appearance related side effects of cancer treatments.I grew up in Absecon and now reside in Smithville. I am extremely excited to be a part of the Escape Beauty Boutique team and the opportunity to work so close to home. I am so happy I can now practice what I love and enjoy on family, friends, and neighbors in the town that I live in and love.
